Privacy statement

We process personal data (hereinafter referred to primarily as ‘data’) only where required and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its content and the services that it offers.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

In respect of the processing outlined in further detail below, users and data subjects have the right

  • to receive confirmation as to whether or no data which relates to them is being processed, to access their data, to receive further information concerning data processing and to copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 GDPR);
  • to have incorrect and/or incomplete data corrected (cf. also Art. 16 GDPR);
  • to have data which relates to them deleted promptly (cf. also Art. 17 GDPR) or, alternatively and insofar as further processing is necessary in accordance with Art. 17 (3) GDPR, to have the processing of their data restricted in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
  • to receive data which relates to them and which has been provided by them and to transfer this data to other providers/data controllers (cf. also Art. 20 GDPR);
  • to file a complaint with the supervisory authority where they are of the opinion that data which relates to them is being processed by the provider in violation of the data privacy stipulations (cf. also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the provider is also obliged to notify any recipient to whom the provider has disclosed data of any correction or deletion of data or any restriction on processing carried out in accordance with Art. 16, 17 (1) (18) GDPR. This obligation to notify shall not exist where notification is impossible or would require disproportionate effort. Without prejudice to the above, the user has a right to information concerning these recipients.

Similarly and in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the future processing of data which relates to them, provided that the data is being processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Specifically, objection to the processing of data for the purpose of direct advertising shall be admissible.

III. Information about data processing

Data which relates to you that has been processed as part of the use of our website shall be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to exist, the deletion of the data does not violate any legal obligations concerning retention and no other information is provided below concerning individual processing methods.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our webspace provider in the form of server logfiles. Server logfiles collect information concerning the type and version of your web browser, your operating system, the website that referred you to our website (referrer URL), the page(s) of our website that you have visited, the date and time of access as well as the IP address of the internet connection that you are using to access our website.

The data collected in this way shall be stored temporarily, but not together with other data which relates to you.

This data is stored in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.

This data shall be deleted after seven days at the latest, provided that no further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, this data shall be fully or partially exempt from deletion until final clarification of the respective incident.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, place, time, or frequency of your visits to our website will be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function, whereby Google truncates the IP address within the EU or the EEA before it is transmitted to the US.
